Audrey-Ève Goulet

From childhood, creation has held an important place in Audrey-Ève Goulet's life. She discovered music at the age of nine with the guitar and quickly began composing her own melodies. Even today, music fuels her inspiration.

For Audrey-Ève, painting is like musical improvisation. She starts each work with an idea or a color, then lets movement, instinct, and surprise guide the creation. Colors and shapes thus evolve freely on the canvas.

Deeply attached to materiality, she works directly with her hands, exploring textures, superpositions, and relief, and combining different tools to bring her works to life.

Her spontaneous and intuitive approach is particularly distinguished by the importance of line. Inspired notably by pointillism, she explores its thickness, transparency, and texture to create vivid, dynamic, and personal abstract compositions.
