Joëlle Blouin

Joëlle is much more than an artist, she is a true alchemist of color. Originally from Quebec and now an expatriate in California, Joëlle has realized the dream of many artists: to take her art to the United States and find resounding success there thanks to her unique style, Urban Cubism™. This journey was forged through a deep personal quest and an unwavering passion for art. A self-taught artist and always exploring, Joëlle discovered an affinity for the palette knife and the pleasure of mixing paint directly on the canvas. This intuitive and liberated approach has allowed her to develop a distinctive style that captures the attention and emotions of viewers. More than just an artistic expression, her work transcends her paintings to resonate deeply with those who contemplate it. Joëlle has made her mark in the art world, from her beginnings in Quebec, where she dared to exhibit her first works, to her move to California where her art took on a new dimension. Her creative process, marked by freedom and intuition, is based on shapes and colors that evolve organically, whether simple sketches or complex abstract pieces. Today, Joëlle continues to explore new techniques, whether in acrylic or metal painting, with glossy finishes that enhance her works. Always faithful to her Quebec roots, her Californian studio is a vibrant space of energy, where loud music and creative enthusiasm feed her inspiration. Her art, driven by a mastered technique and a sense of detail, imposes itself with strength and originality, creating links between spectators and leaving a lasting mark on the art world.
