Murielle Sauve
Born in Montreal, Murielle Sauvé was a professional musician. It was through music that the flautist was introduced to Visual Art. Advanced studies and concert tours in several countries favored visits to major museums and meetings with artists from various backgrounds, thus consolidating her interest in painting. Since retiring from teaching music in 2012, she has devoted herself to training in drawing and painting with renowned artists. Abstraction was her path that she perfected in order to create her own artistic signature. Working with acrylic as her main medium with fluidity, this allows her lively and intuitive creations. It is through the notions of rhythm, color, harmony and expression specific to music that Murielle finds a balance that suits her pictorial approach.
