SOLO EXHIBITION

Jean-Philippe Fortin

The Berthelet Art Gallery, in collaboration with the painter FORTIN, is proud to present a new exhibition of paintings in an exclusive series from November 21 to December 1. The OPENING will take place on Friday, November 22, at our Trois-Rivières branch, at 75 rue des Forge, from 4 p.m.

The exhibition “North | Coastal Symbiosis Between River and Forest” by artist Fortin explores the beauty and strength of the coastal landscapes of northern Quebec, where the St. Lawrence River meets the boreal forests. Through vibrant and textured contemporary paintings, working with an abstract gesture, Fortin examines the relationship between water, land and wildlife while integrating the effects of climate change. This series invites reflection on the preservation of Quebec ecosystems and celebrates the immensity of wild territories.

Jean-Philippe Fortin is a contemporary painter known for his large formats, which combine contemporary techniques with a distinctive artistic signature. His work, made luminous and textured by painting, offers a unique experience, particularly with his 3D paintings that are revealed through special glasses. This unique journey, shaped by the legacy of his artist father and a deep reflection on history, conveys a strong message of protecting nature and promoting our artistic heritage.

We invite you to this event, to present his collections EXCLUSIVELY and to meet the artist.
